Whoever happens to be in Los Angeles at the moment should pop into the ACME Gallery. Dutch photographer Iwan Baan is exhibiting images of his latest publication "Brasilia - Chandigargh - Living with Modernity". Baan is amazing when it comes to architectural photography, his client include Koolhaas, Herzog de Meuron, Hadid, Holl, Ito...the list seems endless. He is great in capturing the interaction between architecture and its inhabitants. While you are there just go across the road and have a look at the new Renzo Piano addition to LACMA. When I was there in 2009 it had not been finished, so I am not sure how good or bad it is, let me know.
